Tenerife trips are organised in cooperation with All Year Climbing - a local climbing community, thus you can expect a very authentic experience with much insider information, guiding and access to the best climbing crags and most beautiful places on the island.

Tenerife is a Volcanic island in the Atlantic Ocean just over 100km from Morocco west coast. It is home to the Spain's highest mountain - active volcano El Teide which is predominant of the whole island. The rock takes most interesting shapes and colors from black, through all hues of red and brown to shades of white. The whole island is scared with many canyons - barrancos , as they are called in Spanish, which cliffs offer great sport and trad climbing options and their basins a perfect spots for bouldering. You can climb in many different places all over the island. From a beach bouldering or even deep water solo at the ocean lavel, up to sport and trad climbing in dramatic surroundings of El Teide in elevation over 2000 meters above sea level. This unique spectrum of elevation and climbing locations all over the island together with the very moderate and predictable climate makes Tenerife a perfect climbing destination as there is virtually 0 days over the year when you can't go climbing somewhere around the island. The best season is winter however as you have a guaranteed climbing weather and temps from 14°C-20°C.

Fly&Climb
The regular Fly&Climb trip starts with a warm welcome at one of the Tenerife's two airports. The Tenerife Sud is most frequented. As it there is so much to see and do on Tenerife, it would be shame to go there just for a week. Our trips start on Thursdays so you can get full 10 days, satisfy your climbing desires and still have enough time to see much of the island and it's beauties. We will pick you up at the airport and drive you to one of our authentic climbing accommodations - be it Arico Climbing Accommodation or Tenerife Climbing House, where you can unpack the very little bagage that you actually need - all you need actually is some "spring-summer" clothes, climbing shoes, chalkbag, harness, helmet and your prefered belay device. All the bulky and heavy gear (rope, quickdraws, trad gear, crashpads) is included in the trip's price. Accommodation consist of several apartments that we will share among our group, each with a nice bathroom, toilet and kitchen. You can chill after the airplane journey to Tenerife in a big garden with a great view or go for the first bouldering or sport climbing session in the canyon 5min walk from the accommodation. In the evening we will throw a welcome fiesta for you in the outdoor kitchen feast you on paella - a traditional dish and some local wines.

Next morning the trip starts in the earnest. Every day we take you climbing according to the group preferences, most crags accommodate for sport climbing and bouldering as well so it is easy to satisfy all at one place. For rest days, if you need them, there are many options - lazy beach day, breathtaking hikes in NP Anaga or NP El Teide, surfing and other water activities or just a sightseeing around the many of the nice places around the island. You will most definitely leave Tenerife sore and tired, but tanned, full of inner energy and smiling, already planning the return to this paradise as soon as possible.

If you are a creature of two elements and ocean calls you same as the rock, you can opt for our Surf&Climb trip where climbing and surfing is well balanced. You are not a surfer yet but hear the calling of the waves? Why not take a surfing course with us, then? Hop on the crazy 10 day ride with us!
